Food production in Sub Saharan Africa, which is predominantly practiced by women, is threatened by poor growing conditions, a lack of technology, and limited opportunities for farmers to sell their surplus. Aid for Africa’s member organizations work to improve yields, introduce trees on farms, and identify other successful strategies to raise incomes and improve household nutrition.
