Protects and cares for the most vulnerable refugees in Africa, ensuring forgotten victims of genocide, persecution, and atrocities are brought from danger to safety.

RefugePoint provides lasting solutions for the world’s most vulnerable refugees.

Ongoing conflicts around the world have made protracted refugee situations more common and more entrenched. In Africa, there are nearly 3 million refugees in need of assistance, many of who have been in exile for more than a decade, if not longer. Living in secluded camps near volatile borders or hidden illegally in urban slum areas, the most vulnerable refugees endure constant insecurity and fear. Women and children, particularly girls, face the risk of sexual violence, kidnapping, and assault.

In response, RefugePoint focuses on the individuals that have fallen through the net of humanitarian assistance and have no other option for survival. We permanently relocate refugees in life-threatening situations to countries where they can rebuild their lives in safety and with dignity.

We also provide urgent stabilizing services for clients in Nairobi, Kenya – a major destination point for refugees across East Africa. Eligible refugees receive emergency food, housing, and medical care. We work closely with clients to help them develop a plan towards self-reliance.

RefugePoint collaborates often with numerous non-governmental organizations based in the U.S. and in Africa and in particular The United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees (UNHCR) and The U.S. Department of State: Bureau of Population, Refugees, and Migration.
